Produced by Dharma Productions and directed by Anurag Singh, Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer Kesari is based on the battle of Saragarhi. The film revolves around the character of Akshay portraying the life of havildar Ishar Singh who participated in the battle while yearning for the respect of his daughter. The battle of Saragarhi was fought between Sikh soldiers and Afghan soldiers and the film captures the essence of that period. The makers of the film released two posters of the film today and Akshay looks outstanding in both of them. His looks have been changed completely to suit the character.
